Rostering Officer - Hampshire - £26,000-£30,000
Shorterm Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Rostering Officer to work alongside our Aerospace clients Director of Flight Operations and Post Holder Ground Operations.
They will deal with all crew rostering matters and be fully conversant with the terms and conditions of the Companies Air Operator Certificate. Your main purpose will be to crew all flights in the most effective and safe way.
The role will involve planning and executing the flight crew requirements for all flights .
This role combines the need for pilot training with the normal operational schedule and interfaces with the training department.
*Maintain Crew Schedule for all Pilots
*Collect and store flight crew information for reports to management
*React to crewing issues if and when they arise.
*Preparation and Distribution of crew rosters in accordance with company flight and duty limitations
*Ensure that all flights are crewed in accordance with regulations
*Ensure 24/7 crew coverage
*Liaison with the Travel department
*Coordination with DFO, Chief Pilot and Fleet Managers for the rostering of ground, aircraft or simulator training and checks
*Communicate crew roster information to flight crews
*Monitor Crew Headcount and requirements for additional headcount through attrition and growth.
*Assign scheduled, unscheduled and standby crew duties in accordance with the company flight and duty limitations.
*Implement Company scheduling agreements and FTL variations.
*Provide information concerning crew usage
*cost effective scheduling of the flight crew
*Ensure crew duty assignments are in accordance with FTL regulations and variations as approved by the Regulatory Authority.
*Managing leave allocation, recruitment, training in conjunction with Fleet and Training Management to ensure an efficient flying programme.
*Provision of monthly pilot duty report to the Flight Operations Manager
*Resolve scheduling problems as and when they arise
*Forecast crew requirements based on additions or changes to the long term schedules
*Assuring that flight crew members are certified, qualified, trained and meet currency requirements in accordance
*Assist with processing pilot pay claims
Ideal candidates will have the following:
*basic knowledge of the Aviation industry and be able to understand the Company FTL Scheme, EASA training and licencing requirements and crew Visa requirements/applications.
