Blue Islands is a privately and independently owned Channel Islands based regional airline, which became a Flybe franchise partner in 2016, operating flights in Flybe branded aircraft between the Channel Islands and to the UK. Blue Islands operates an all ATR fleet comprising of ATR 72 and ATR 42 aircraft and employs 100 people across its bases in Guernsey and Jersey.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Revenue Manager will be responsible for maximising ticket revenue across the Blue Islands network by deploying a range of strategic and tactical revenue management techniques to optimise the yield / volume mix.
The role holder will be responsible for analysing sales data, identifying trends, forecasting demand and monitoring the competitive environment to feed the company’s revenue plan. Tactical and strategic pricing and inventory control responsibilities, to deliver the network revenue plan, will also form a key focus of the role.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, dynamic and analytically minded individual with prior experience within a revenue management role. A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products is essential, notably Excel, with experience of the AirRM revenue management package, MySQL coding and GDS practices being extremely desirable.
