About Your Job

The Manager RM Strategy is responsible to oversee and guide analysts in the development and implementation of route and region specific RTDP (Real Time Dynamic Pricing) and demand forecast strategies in co-ordination with RM Specialist. The role is responsible for conducting detailed analysis and providing recommendations to support the RM Analysts in decision making. This role will lead the work of other analysts to ensure timelines are met and to manage relationships within Revenue Management and other departments.

Specific responsibilities of the role include:

  • Plans and coordinates network peaks with Specialists from other regions and implement RTDP/Demand strategies.
  • Monitors and analyses advance bookings on markets/ Routes with RTDP strategies and recommends changes based on the trends.
  • Initiates quarterly significant OD reviews in coordination with RM Analysts and System analysts
  • Conducts analysis on demand forecast accuracy and guides RM analyst to improve forecast
  • Analyses weekly overbooking and DNB reports and provide recommendations to support analyst to assist meeting the DNB/ closed flight seat factor KPIs.
  • Conducts spot checks on the forecast parameters provided by RM Analysts for automated confirmation tools.
  • Establishes the team timelines for actions and priorities pertaining to implementation of strategic actions
  • Evaluates the department or team objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and recommends appropriate changes if needed.

 

About You

You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum of 5 to 7 years of job-related experience. You must have good knowledge and background in Airline Revenue Management. You must have good understanding of the core concepts driving the airline economics and industry business rationale.

You must have strong analytical skills with a good understanding of forecasting techniques, revenue impact modelling and variance analysis. You must have data analysis background and should be able to quickly learn the new data subject areas. You must be able to translate detailed data into clear concise findings.

We are looking for proactive, dynamic and passionate individuals with excellent commercial, analytical and communication skills that are focused on results and works well under pressure. You must have ability to take ownership, responsibility and accountability on the assigned target or areas. You must be able to partner with team members to create and monitor action plans. Ability to work in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision is essential. You must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
