Revenue Management: Head of Pricing

The Head of Pricing is responsible to achieve the maximization of the revenue and profitability of Jet Airways by developing / implementing Revenue Management strategies in Pricing & Distribution.

He / she manages a team of Inventory and Pricing Analysts and the Distribution department to optimise net contribution for Jet Airways

Job Description:

*

Design, implement and evaluate appropriate class configuration and additional pricing strategies.

*

Develop and continuously improve understanding of demand and its response to price and competition both on a macro and a micro level and develop fare ranges accordingly.

*

Recommend optimal pricing strategy from a business and consumer perspective.

*

Develop corporate Pricing strategy for Jet Airways.

*

Implement new Pricing products according to customers’ demand evolution and competitor’s changes.

*

Evaluate and recommend promotional activities.

*

Ensure quality and efficiency of all processes and activities related to Distribution of pricing data into Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) worldwide.

*

Advise Pricing teams with guidelines and methodologies to support the activity of Pricing Analysts and Distribution Analysts.

*

Contribute to systems and process developments; improve organization setup, plan projects and major technical roll outs.

*

Advise and integrate Industry developments in the Distribution Area (ATPCO, GDSs, IT providers, IATA, etc…).

*

Develop innovative and efficient solutions for Distribution of pricing elements in GDSs.

*

Implement Distribution of global pricing elements in GDS.

Candidate's Profile:

*

Should have minimum 12 to 15 years of experience.

*

Education Degree / Masters or equivalent or equivalent work experience.

*

Demonstrable strong expertise in a Pricing and Revenue Management gained in an airline environment.

*

Extensive knowledge of latest Pricing and Revenue Management strategy & tactics.

*

Broad knowledge of the complete marketing mix and its impact at contribution level. Strong commercial focus and financial awareness / understanding.
