Due to growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced, high-calibre Regional Ground Operations Manager to take responsibility for the safe, consistent and on-time performance of our airport operations. Managing a significant budget, you'll lead and motivate a large team, building strong relationships with 3rd Party Suppliers (ground handling, cleaning, fuelling etc), Regulatory Authorities and Industry Steering Committees. A high-profile role, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, highly-energetic individual to drive a cultural change programme, winning "hearts and minds" to ensure a consistent, professional and friendly service for our customers in our most crucial airport.

What you'll need:

  • A proven track record of successful operational management, gained in a challenging airport environment of similar scale or complexity.
  • Strategic and commercial mind set, with proven people management skills & ability to drive organisational and cultural change in a unionised operation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to build strong personal relationships and credibility at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrable customer-focus, coupled with considerable personal gravitas, strength of character and personal integrity.
  • Process-driven, with a passion for operational delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Tenacity and resilience required to flourish in a high-growth, pressurised and constantly-evolving environment.
