Westair Aviation Ltd., based at Shannon Airport has a vacancy for a Part Time Quality Manager.
With specific reference to the Part 145 approval, the Quality Manager shall discharge his responsibilities by:
- Assessing external specialist services required to be used by the company in the performance of maintenance.
- Assessing suppliers of new and used components, and materials, for satisfactory product quality in relation to the needs of the organisation.
- Preparing standard practices and procedures for use within the organisation, derived from approved sources, and keeping them up to date.
- Defect analysis in respect of aircraft undergoing maintenance so that any adverse trends are identified and responded to promptly.
- The management of the Company Approvals Board and the maintenance and retention of relevant records.
- Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance by establishing a programme of training and continuation training using Internal and external sources,
- Keeping a record of all training including continuation training and experience of maintenance-related personnel.
- Auditing of sub-contractors.
- Appointing and gaining acceptance for external auditors from the IAA.
- Monitoring the timely accomplishment of corrective actions identified during the accomplishment of audits.
- Maintaining a record of concessions and deviations granted by the IAA.
- Performing bi- annual review of the remedial actions/recommendations arising from the accomplishment of audits in accordance with the Quality Audit Plan.
- Notifying the Accountable Manager of any non conformance findings indicating a serious breakdown of company procedures.
- Report Incidents to the Irish Aviation Authority.
