Apple Aviation are looking to recruit a new Quality Manager to be based at our Head Office in Frodsham, Cheshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Part 145 quality system with EASA requirements for all maintenance activities. Required to be an EASA Form 4 Post Holder.
Will have direct access to the Accountable Manager on matters concerning the quality system. This will include details of any reported discrepancy/non-conformance's not being adequately attended to by the relevant person, or in respect of any disagreement over the nature of a discrepancy.
Primary responsibilities will include development/approval of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), co-ordination with local aviation authorities to maintain aviation approvals, and management responsibility for the overall quality system. Additional responsibilities include: internal and external auditing, supplier reviews, calibration and supplier oversight.
Responsible for the notification to the competent authority, as applicable according to the procedures established in the MOE, of maintenance activities conducted outside approved locations.
Responding to deficiencies in the Q.A. Department arising from independent quality audits.
Defining the Human Factor principles to be implemented within the Organisation.
Certification and training of personnel along with the issue,suspension or removal of Certifying Staff authorisations and approvals, together with the control of stamps.
Establishing feedback from maintenance incidents/issues and feeding these back into the continuation training programme.
Candidates for this position should have prior experience and thorough knowledge of EASA Part 145/Part M regulations and Quality Management systems. The ability to communicate and work effectively with people at various locations is essential in this role.
