Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s (BDS) X-37B is the United States’ most advanced, state-of-the-art reentry space craft. Boeing is the prime contractor for the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV), an unmanned space vehicle that is used by the United States Air Force to explore reusable space vehicle technologies in support of long-term space objectives.
Objectives of the X-37B program include space experimentation, risk reduction, and concept of operations development. Managed by Experimental Systems Group (ESG), a unit of Boeing Space Systems, the X-37B is a flexible, affordable and responsive platform balancing the characteristics of a spacecraft and an aircraft.

Verifies product conformance to design requirements.
Provides objective evidence of results.
Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures.
Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Position is contingent upon candidate acquiring a Special Program Access Pre-Start.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* More than 3 years of experience conducting aerospace inspection.
Experience analyzing spacecraft/aircraft engineering designs for inspectibility and developing and optimizing efficient inspection plans.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* More than 1 years of experience using Manufacturing Execution System or Manufacturing Execution System Common Image.
* Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
* Current SSBI or an equivalent is preferred.
Typical Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
