Composites Horizons designs, develops and manufactures products using Advanced Composite Materials. Markets are Medical, Aerospace and Commercial orientation and customers are global. We are in need of a Quality Assurance Inspector for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts to help us maintain our production throughput, as we grow in the dynamic advanced composite business.

Job Title: Quality Inspector
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager
Test and inspect products at various states of the productin process, from in-process to final inspection. Testing will include CMM, dimenstional and mechanical. Generate internal non-conforming reports. Maintain MRB database. Enter and analyze test and SPC data.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide inspection activity in coordination with production, purchasing and shipping, to maximize product reliability and minimize cost, throughout the production cycle.
Maintain MRB database and organization
Read, understand and inspect to drawings, blueprints and other written instructions
Perform dimensional and mechanical testing
Perform receiving, in- process and final inspection
Issue internal non conformance reports
Data/SPC entry and analysis
Utilize various types of inspection tools
Perform First Article Inspections
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Basic math capabilities
Must be fluent in English for communication, reading and writing
Use of standard micro-measuring equipment
Basic computer skills with Word, Excel
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and have good hand dexterity. Position requires significant walking, bending and standing.To be entered
