Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a opening to join our Quality organization.
Day to Day:
Chromalloy is a global supplier of advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in aviation and land-based applications and repairs. The company refurbishes and manufactures engine components, and designs and manufactures FAA-approved replacement parts for aircraft engines that are certified to meet or exceed the performance, reliability and durability specifications of original equipment manufacturer parts. In support of land-based vehicles, Chromalloy employs identical engineering disciplines used to produce its FAA-certified parts. Chromalloy serves commercial, military and industrial turbine engine operators worldwide.
Quality Engineer aims to ensure that the product or service an organization provides is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Create, edit and revise quality system procedures to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
*Responsible to evaluate repair processes performance thru quality tools and establish control to maintain results within acceptable levels.
*Compile and report quality metrics related to operational areas.
*Evaluate and respond to Customer complaints, including containment activities and RCCA in system.
*Evaluate measurement system in conjunction with Calibration and Engineering departments.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
* Bs Degree In Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering.
* 5+ Years of Related Experience; Metal-Mechanic Industry.
* Aerospace Industry Experience, With Exposure to Customers that Manufacture Aircraft Engines.
* Full Experience With Quality Standards (PPAP, FMEA, GAGE R&R & Fair's)
* Experience in Cad Systems, GD&T, CNC Machuning And Programming
* Knowledge Of ISO/AS9102.
* Understanding Of Lean Manufacturing And Six Sigma Tools.
* Full Bilingual, English-Spanish.
