Description:Quality Ground Regulations Assurance (QGRA) Organization located in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer to support the organization. QGRA is a multi-function organization providing innovative solutions for LM Aeronautics and aerospace industry customers. Specific QGRA functions include: Policy, Surveillance, CAPex & RCCA process, Ground Operation Procedures management "GOPS", Aircraft Ground Damage Investigation, FOD Prevention. In this position, the Quality Engineer will support all QGRA functions in various tasks/projects across Aero. Primary responsibility will be supporting "CAR Team 1" for FTW in analysis of defect data and producing actionable metrics. Candidate will work closely with QGRA Leadership and interface with other organizations in order to complete assigned tasks. The candidate will perform activities/functions as directed by leadership working independently and with an integrated team which includes customers, suppliers and other QGRA functional personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in related STEM field required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Statistical and analytical charting of large data sets
Desired Skills:
Self-motivated and takes initiative
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Business acumen needed
• Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions with team strategy in mind
• Ability to be flexible and accept change
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
