Job Description
Quality Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Develop required “Fixed Process” and internal procedures. Verify proper order entry and material processing. Verify Certification packages are complete and correct. Review of temperature uniformity survey (TUS) and system accuracy test (SAT) data of equipment. Review of in-house calibration data and calibration certificate from an outside source. Perform internal audits. Perform other tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.
QUALITY CONTROL
1.
Help monitor company Quality System.
2.
Develop and implement Quality Control, Standard Operating, and Customer specific Processing procedures.
3.
Coordinate all internal audits and verify timely completion.
4.
Maintain calibration recall list up to date including periodic checks.
5.
Review “Job Cards” for accuracy and compliance with applicable specifications and customer purchase order.
6.
Help maintain all applicable specifications and documents required to perform material processing.
7.
Implement and verify “Corrective and Preventive Actions”.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
8.
Maintain positive relationship with customers by promoting efficiency and responding to customer requirements.
9.
Advise customer on process deviation in a timely manner.
10.
Verify “Completed” jobs were processed correctly and provide supporting documentation, when needed.
TRAINING:
11.
Understand Quality Manual and Internal Procedures.
12.
Understand Quality Policy and Objectives.
13.
Know your primary responsibilities listed on job descriptions.
14.
Help in employee training program as required.
15.
Understand pyrometry spec. AMS2750.
REQUIREMENTS:
16.
Read and understand customer purchase orders and specifications.
17.
Read and verify shop travelers.
18.
Input data into the computer with minimal error.
