As the Quality Control Manager you will be responsible for implementing quality control standards, processes, controls and developing methods for inspection and training with the Aerospace Platform. This position is located onsite at our Sylmar, CA. facility. You will report to the Site Quality Manager.

• Assist during FAA audits, customer audits and conduct internal audits

• Manage overall aspect of the manufacturing functions of facilities’ Quality Control Department(s) including Receiving and Final Inspections

• Develop sampling plans, quality standards, and process control instructions for use by manufacturing to monitor and reduce variations

• Acts as ultimate point of contact to the FAA/EASA and is present at and oversees audits with Quality Managers at each site (Part 21)

• Maintain signature authority for maintenance release forms, Airworthiness Approval Tags and Certificates of Compliance

• Attend daily production meetings to keep Operations current on QC issues and to provide support as neede
