Qualifications
US Citizen
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, and/or experience in 5 years of Manufacturing experience in Quality/Business Management Systems
2+ years of experience utilizing knowledge, experience, and training in Lean and its application within a business management context
SAE AS9100D; 2016 Lead Auditor certified or equivalent quality systems certification
Working knowledge of blueprint reading, common inspection techniques, geometric dimensioning and tolerance, chemical processing
Ability to travel up to 25% annually

As the Quality Control Manager you will be responsible for implementing quality control standards, processes, controls and developing methods for inspection and training with the Aerospace Platform. This position is located onsite at our Sylmar, CA. facility. You will report to the Site Quality Manager.
Assist during FAA audits, customer audits and conduct internal audits
Manage overall aspect of the manufacturing functions of facilities’ Quality Control Department(s) including Receiving and Final Inspections
Develop sampling plans, quality standards, and process control instructions for use by manufacturing to monitor and reduce variations
Acts as ultimate point of contact to the FAA/EASA and is present at and oversees audits with Quality Managers at each site (Part 21)
Maintain signature authority for maintenance release forms, Airworthiness Approval Tags and Certificates of Compliance
Attend daily production meetings to keep Operations current on QC issues and to provide support as neede
