Description:This position reports to SQM (Supplier Quality Management) leadership and is responsible for supply chain sourced product quality.
This position will utilize Quality Science tools and processes to ensure material availability and to mitigate/eliminate/prevent disruptions to Production.
This position will support the IFG (Integrated Fighter Group) Supplier Quality Integration team which functions as the integration and interface point between SQM fielded personnel, suppliers, CoProducers, program stakeholders (including supply chain, production, quality, and engineering) as well as customers (DCMA and Program Office), providing technical/process expertise and facilitation toward issue resolution.
This position is responsible and accountable to collaborate with various functions and resources to assure compliance and continuous improvement. Towards this, scope of responsibilities will include: leading root cause, corrective, and preventive action investigation/decision/validations and documentation, performing quality and cost data analysis, performing variation management actions, and conducting/coordinating process and product evaluations
This position will require up to 20% travel.
Technical degree in Engineering, Math, or Science.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Root Cause Analysis experience.
Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing analytical capabilities, both quantitative and qualitative, to communicate and influence others in a concise and data driven manner.
High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals.
Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.
Lean Six Sigma, CQE or CMQ/OE certification.
Demonstrated quality science expertise in one or more of the following areas: statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, FAI, PPAP, PFMEA process auditing or validation, root cause analysis and corrective action validations, and supplier quality management.
