About the role
Here at Babcock we are currently recruiting a Qualified Simulator Ground Instructor. You will be working within the Merlin Training Facility (MTF) at RNAS Culdrose in direct support of the AESAS contract. Reporting to the Officer In Charge, you will have specific responsibilities associated with the instruction of students and will be expected to maintain the high standards associated with operations in the aviation environment.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need be Former Military Observer Aircrew, Instructor category of B1 Grade, a minimum of 500 hours Merlin HM Mk1 flying hours achieved, Conversion to Merlin Mk2, Minimum of 400 instructional hours (simulated or airborne across aircraft types)., Attended the Merlin Mk1/Mk2 Instructor Control Consol course "Sim driver", Instructor category of A2/A1 Grade, Achieved the Defence Instructional Techniques (DIT) Qualification and Hold the 'Defence Train The Trainer' Qualification.

All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks. Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage.
