Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the project is completed on time by effectively overseeing all issues around risks, schedules and communications

  • Determine project schedules by studying project plans and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements

  • Maintain project runs efficiently and on schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities and resolving problems

  • Manage work parties on site to ensure all work is progressed efficiently and safely

  • Ensuring that everyone on site are working in accord with the company's Health & Safety Policy

  • Perform overall quality control of the work, (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) conducting base inspections as required and reporting regularly on project status

  • Assist in the development of existing and new processes to enhance the quality of the work

  • Liaise with the engineers and project management team to resolve issues and conflicts regarding work, planning and resourcing 

  • Ensure all work is carried out to a satisfactory quality and technical standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/industrial engineering and management or similar

  • Proven project management or Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience working within an Engineering industry preferably aviation.

  • Good Organisational, analytical & strong problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate directly with engineers and managers

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Work with a high level of individual responsibility

  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
