To manage, direct and control heavy maintenance, modification & conversion programs at vendor facilities to ensure that all activities are performed.
Key Responsibilities & Ideal candidate's profile:
Represent the company as the project leader for all activities from an A/C heavy, modification & Conversion viewpoint at assigned vender facilities
Timely decisions regarding the repair or replacement of parts or components and the correction of all discrepancies noted during the scheduled maintenance, modifications or conversions visits and assures airworthiness of aircraft redelivered
Monitors contract vendors for all manhours expended, materials issued and ground equipment required during the maintenance, modification or conversion visit and reviews all invoice for accuracy and negotiates and approves proposed manhours to ensure the business is invoiced appropriately
Ensures all programs and work performed are in full compliance with the contractual requirements and the FAA.
Provide onsite review and surveillance of all airworthiness directives and ensures all documents is accounted for and recorded in the aircraft maintenance history as required per the client operation and vender operations.
Maintains open communications and a good working relationship with assigned vendors to ensure all issues related to production, quality, safety, legal fitness and cost control are identified, communicated and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Identified and participates in lean/continual improvement initiatives in both company and vender operations.
Valid A&P license required
The right to live and work in Ireland is required
Experience with the B757 is required
