Project Engineer Staff - GOLDesp Administrator for Logistics Operations - Special Operations Forces

Description:In this position, the successful candidate will be the GOLDesp administrator for Logistics Operations and will need a full understanding of maintaining optimum running efficiency of the GOLDesp application. This individual will work closely with Information Technology (IT) for software upgrades / patch testing and "GO LIVE" production implementation. this candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of software system to implement new features / capabilities and alternative software applications solutions. Ability to troubleshoot system and articulate issues to vendor for resolution is key. Candidate must have a strong logistics background with extensive knowledge of Supply Chain best practices.
4 year degree or demonstrated learning agility (picking up information and assimilating effectively and efficiently).
Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems, analyze data and translate into recommendations and presentations.
Candidate must have the ability to create and update processes and procedures to include training guides.
Candidate must have a strong logistics background with extensive knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and administrative experience in an Inventory Management System or Warehouse Management System.
Excellent collaboration skills across functional departments and external customers.
Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex ideas to senior management and other audiences.
Prior work experience with GOLD platform and administrative GOLD experience. Extensive background with wholesale and retail DoD supply systems. Process mapping skills to ensure business process and business rules align to software. Demonstrates detail-orientation, multi-tasking and effective project management skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Experience in training and creating training material. DoD experience with MILS / DLMS wholesale and Retail
