This position is for an Interior Certification Focal for the South Carolina Delivery Center.
Responsibilities include providing project management and engineering support for successful execution of the Interior Certification process. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality from project initiation through submittal of completed FAA records. Be a technical focal for certification issues relating to interior certification and cabin safety FAA guidelines. Pro-actively solve problems and communicate progress to cross-functional teams.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of aircraft interior configurations with a high level of attention to detail and capability to review design packages. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated to make process improvements, and familiar with the Request for Conformity process. Ability to work on multiple issues efficiently and effectively. Must Be a Collaborator with the ability to build trust across cross-functional teams.
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
