During the design/modification process interacting directly with the designers providing the design context for their solutions and ensuring that the certification basis for the design is understood
Ensuring that certification compliance plans are created and satisfied as part of the design process
Solving design integration issues where more than one system is involved in the design
Applying the appropriate Configuration management processes
Compiling material for PDR and CDR
Managing the drawing structure and the applicability of any modification to the fleet (including prototypes)
Assist in continuing airworthiness management by monitoring in-service arisings and assisting in any resulting investigations and design or inspection regime changes.
Preparing any necessary Service Bulletins/Engineering Technical Instructions and major repairs (in collaboration with CS&S-PSE)
To minimise the technical response times of technical queries to achieve or exceed flying hours targets through driving together multi-functional support and engineering solutions.
To combine the above with the ability to work as part of the joint industry/MoD team responsible for delivering all aspects of technical support.
