JSSI Parts & Leasing (JPL) is looking for an experienced parts trader to grow JPL into Europe, Middle East and Africa.  This position will be based out of a home office and may be located anywhere within the United Kingdom or Germany.

Position Summary:

JPL is looking for an experienced parts trader to grow JPL into Europe, Middle East and Africa. They will responsible for developing or evolving existing relationships with MROs, operators and other market participants to generate both sales and part sourcing opportunities.  This individual should be an entrepreneur, having the opportunity to build a dynamic business in the region encompassing numerous product types from part sales to engine leasing and aircraft acquisitions.  In addition, the Product Line Manager will work with JSSI Hourly Cost Maintenance Program salespeople and technical advisors in EMEA to support existing JSSI clients by sourcing materials or to generate leads for new clients through exhibiting the capabilities of JPL.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Have a strong working knowledge in the values of complete assets and related parts.
  • Source profitable opportunities to purchase parts through surplus purchases, assets for teardown and other outlets 
  • Manage the complete supply chain process in supporting material requirements for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Develop and service account relationships that generate repeat business opportunities. 
  • Learn JSSI’s existing hourly costs maintenance offerings across various products. 
  • Work closely with the JPL procurement, product lines and sales teams.
  • Work with the aircraft acquisition team to identify and close on complete aircraft purchases. 
  • Conduct financial analysis on purchase opportunities, taking into account market conditions.
  • Create relationships with suppliers, repair vendors and customers.
  • Effectively present JPL to prospective customers and suppliers.
  • Identify and move quickly on opportunities.
  • Settle discrepancies with customer orders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Call on regular and prospective customers and vendors to solicit new business. 
  • Negotiate prices with customers and vendors.
  • Identify market trends and anticipate areas of opportunity.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained through proactive buying.
  • Manage on-site inventory movement in and out of the system.  
  • Maximize sales and margin goals.
  • Attend European trade shows, conferences and seminars.
  • Support AOG material requirements

Desired Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Unrestricted residence and employment authorization for the United Kingdom or Germany.
  • Minimum of three years in procurement or sales.
  • Ability to effectively communicate business opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft, engines and APU’s.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate effectively via email and telephone.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Highly organized and able to thrive in fast-paced environment.
