As a Procurement Manager (CS - Component Repairs) you will be able to:

* Assess the client component repair business requrements to determine appropriate procurement strategies to be developed. Understand and ensure that the business needs can be articulated clearly to internal and external parties

* Manage fair and ethical maket engagements in line with the client policies and processes in order to mitigate legal, fianncial and reputational risk Determine, design and agree appropriate procurement solutions for complex engagements
* Employ data driven negotiation techniques to ensure optimal commercial outcomes
* Ensure recommedations are supported by robust commercial logic, data and modelling, drawing on expert resources to deliver successful outcomes
* Effective stakeholder and project management to ensure stakeholder sign-off and contract execution prior to commencement of services
* Effectively manage designated spend categories to ensure delivery of benefits throughout the contract lifecycle
* Develop category and market engagement strategies
* Contract management, including drafting, execution, amendments, dispute resolution, pricing and performance management, risk monitoring benefits tracking
* Ongoing delivery of cost and service improvement initiatives
* Adopt the CS 'Way of Working' and positively contribute to an engaged and empowered high performance team culture.

Core responsibilities:

* Deliver and sustain measurable Purchased Services cost benefits
* Purchased Serivces P&L business plan, budget and iterative in-year budget forecast targets
* Develop, implement and refine ongoing category strategies realting to vendors and or spend categories
* Approval of category strategies
* Develop and actively manage sustainable strategic relationships with nominated partners and suppliers to deliver business case benefits
* Purchased Services budget targets
* Partner/supplier performance
* Partner/supplier feedback


Business/Commerce/Economics/Law qualifications

In the absence of relevant education, demonstrate signifiant experience in complex procurement combined with evidence of strong benefit delivery

Operational and strategic procurement experience in an airline or aviation MRO environment would be preferable

Strategic category management experience including all aspects of sourcing, negotation, contracting, contract management, compliance and category planning

- strong commercial acumen, negotiation and problem solving skills to drive postive outcomes/benefits and enabling assertive and effective guidance to leaders and other staekholders

- Complex business case development and an understanding of financial modelling
