Job summary

On behalf of our MRO client in China, we are recruiting a Powerplant Engineer.

Some responsibilities of the job are:

  • Creating work scope for the incoming engine overhaul.
  • Overall technical direction and support to the company departments, including assembly/disassembly, test, and troubleshooting, analysis of engine test data, disposition of deviation, and maintenance of shop visit records
  • Leading troubleshooting on engine defects, incident and performance-related issues, investigating and recommending corrective actions.
  • Providing technical support to customer inquires, problems and troubleshooting, etc.
  • Participating in technical support meetings with customers.
  • Assisting sales and customer service team in technical issues. 
  • Developing engine overhaul work scope and standardising work to continuously improve engine performance and reduce overhaul cost.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 9 years’ experience in aerospace engine hardware and/or test experience.
  • Minimum 5 years PWC engine engineering experience. 
  • Familiar with aerospace engine repair work scope, engineering performance management, SB, assembly and testing.
  • License on PWT or MEC  
  • Experience with engine performance and test data analysis of PWC engine is preferred. 
  • Engine releasing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both, Chinese and English.
