An Engine MRO specialising in the maintenance and preservation of narrow-bodied aircraft engines, are seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong background working with narrow bodied engines to join their dynamic and growing company.
The role of Engineer will involve performing routine maintenance primarily on commercial aircraft engines to the highest quality standards as well as performing supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required. The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate knowledge of quality procedures as well as EASA/FAA Part 145 requirements and procedures.
To be considered for the role of Engineer you will need:
A strong background working with narrow bodied engines, with specific knowledge of the CFM family
CFM56 type courses including theory and practical
CF6-80 and V2500 experience would also be beneficial
Completion of an Apprenticeship or a similar level qualification at an EASA Part 145 Maintenance Organisation
Ability to travel on short notice
To be keen to grow with the LEAP market
Access to own toolkit is essential
Good communication skills
This role will involve travelling across the UK and Europe. Therefore, the successful candidate will need a valid Driving Licence and European Passport.
In return, the successful candidate will receive an attractive salary package, including a potential bonus, overtime and approval pay. Our Client is also in the process of going full steam into the LEAP engine market with their Engineers holding LEAP approval - this will also be offered to the successful candidate.
