On behalf of our client, a leading MRO in Europe, we are seeking to recruit a Planning Manager on a permanent basis. As the Planning Manager, you effectively create and maintain an efficient production schedule that meets customer requirements while minimizing cycle.
 
Role: Planning Manager
Pay: Upon application
Location: Belgium
Start Date: Immediate requirement
 
Requirements
 
  • Minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance experience in production, planning or engineering functions
  • Civil and / or Military experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in aviation (Or equivalent by experience)
  • English and French or Dutch Language desirable
 
Your Responsibilities
 
  • Scheduling the work according to manpower capacity.
  • Ensuring all Part 145 maintenance activities are planned and prepared in due time.
  • Creating and amending the bill of work in agreement with the customer and the maintenance organization.
  • Making sure that the required resources are available allowing to complete maintenance activities in time. This requires close coordination & collaboration with internal departments (engineering, purchasing…) and the customers.
  • Preparing tasks that must be performed during maintenance operations.
  • Defining, analysing & implementing procedures, applications and tools to constantly optimize the maintenance activities.
  • Arranging and following the internal and external third party works.
 
Experience
 
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in aviation (or equivalent by experience)
  • On top of that you are customer oriented and show good negotiating skills.
  • You are fluent in English. Dutch and French are an asset.
  • You are a people manager who thinks out-of-the box and show good organizational and analytical skills as well.
