Our client, a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, are currently seeking a Paint sprayer to join their team based in Stansted.
To work as part of the ELBU team, undertaking a breadth of tasks including degreasing, masking, application of sealant, application of primer coatings, application of matt and enamel top coatings to an extensive variety of components from a wide selection of different aircraft platforms.
Maintain the function of paint plant and associated equipment.
To assist, as required, with the monitoring of stock levels for paint and consumables.
To assist, as required, with certain elements of machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Paint spraying of an extensive variety of components from a wide selection of different aircraft platforms.
Maintain plant and equipment.
Help monitor and maintain stock levels of paint and consumables.
Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures.
Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards.
Ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with EASA, FAA and company procedures.
Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
Numerate and literate (GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English essential).
Industry recognised Paint Spraying Qualification (desirable).
Proven experience within a paint spraying environment – Ideally within the Aviation Sector (desirable).
Proven experience in reading and interpreting manufacturers refinish drawings - Ideally within the Aviation Sector (desirable).
