Reporting to the General Manager - Safety & Compliance, the Operations Safety & Compliance Manager is responsible for actively promoting and improving safety management and the Jet2.com Just Culture across all Operational teams such as Ground and Flight Operations. Through strong Team leadership, you will ensure ongoing regulatory and company compliance for all Air Operator Certificates (AOC) and third party operator approvals.
You will be responsible for producing, implementing and managing an effective and continuously improving risk and performance based compliance monitoring programme for AOC's and Operational Compliance. The Operations Safety & Compliance Manager will provide management oversight for the proactive resolution of all Occurrence Reports via the Company Safety Management System (The Hub), ensuring timely delivery of reports and recommendations.
In addition, you will be a key Safety focal point for third party aircraft leases and regulatory audits, whilst supporting the regular update and amendment of Compliance & Safety Manuals.
You will be an experienced Manager, ideally with extensive Compliance Monitoring experience within the commercial Airline Industry. You will be an excellent communicator whilst possessing strong leadership, negotiation & coaching skills. You will have the flexibility to travel across the Jet2.com network, and airlines or other bases as required.
