Operations Manager – Repair
The Ideal candidate:
Smaller company experience, possess a start-up, entrepreneur mindset.
Desire to grow and develop, having both horizontally and vertically development and growth within the business. Relocate frequently e.g., every 3-5 years.
Emotionally intelligent and able to build strong trust with leaders and employees of diverse backgrounds and situations at all levels.
An exceptional communicator in both written and verbal interactions; clear, concise, and courageous in giving tough but supportive feedback when needed.
Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, nimble and responsive in the short-term while driving progress on longer-term initiatives.
A proven track record of developing others.
Skill in monitoring/assessing the performance of self, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Role & Responsibilities
Will manage the repair business area and reports to the Plant Manager
Will lead a team of ~30, Repair and Test Technicians
Drive Safety, Quality, Throughput, and culture within the business
Lead team through successful development and execution of monthly plans to meet and exceed schedule, revenue, and cost requirements
Responsible for establishing optimum utilization of available resources through efficient manpower management.
Prepares long range planning for continuous improvement within the Business.
Support the development of new methods, processes, and equipment and apply them to the manufacturing operation for productivity gains.
May provide technical support to and assist in determining the technical and manufacturing capability of vendor.
Coach and mentor team members to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Repair turnaround time
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline plus a minimum of 10 years direct industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree e.g., MBA and closer to 12 years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience required.
