Xfly is a leading Long-Term Strategic Capacity Provider to commercial airlines in Europe. The company has its bases in Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden. Xfly is operating a fleet consisting of CRJ700-900s, ATR72-600s aircraft and is in the process of introducing Embraer 190-195s for long-term ACMI operations.

OPERATIONS ANALYST

Operations Analyst will be working closely with all the departments in the company. In this role, you will have access to vast amounts of data and your task will be to help departments understand it and track the trends. Your analysis will play an important role in the decision-making process.

MAIN TASKS

  • Responsible for developing tools for analysing operational data and KPIs in all the operational areas ranging from manpower planning, technical reliability of the fleet and maintenance planning to fuel efficiency program and SPIs;
  • Responsible for developing data warehouse ensuring data integrity and availability in the warehouse;
  • Ensure that operational data is linked with financial metrics ensuring accurate cost distribution and financial modelling;
  • Responsible for building forecasting models to be used for strategic decision making;
  • Perform various analyses on ad-hoc basis to support the decision-making process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be comfortable working with statistics and proficient in Microsoft Power BI or similar statistical analysis and forecasting tools;
  • Advanced MS Office, Google Analytics and Tableau user;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in air transport, business analyses, computer science or IT related;
  • Be comfortable working with statistics and proficient in Microsoft Power BI or similar statistical analysis and forecasting tools;
  • Advanced MS Office, Google Analytics and Tableau user;
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in air transport, business analyses, computer science or IT related;
  • Background in IT, project management or operations research or experience in a similar analytical role in the airline environment;
  • Proven track record in analytical roles in the airline environment would be advantageous;
  • Very good level of English, both spoken and written in combination with strong communication skills;
  • Have an in-depth understanding of BPM/BPR and Lean methodology;
  • Be knowledgeable in data warehousing and developing queries for extracting data;
  • Programming skills such as R or Python would be advantageous.
