Our Regional Airline Safety team has an exciting opportunity available as an Operational Safety Specialist. In this role you will provide support to the Regional airlines, as a SMS specialist, providing hazard and risk management expertise, managing respective occurrences and investigations, completing audits and promoting safety. This role is available on a permanent full-time basis, as we have offices throughout New Zealand this role has the flexibility of being based at either Auckland, Nelson or Christchurch. Key requirements include: * Completing risk based auditing. * Assessing, investigating and analysing operational safety occurrences to identify rectification and improvement opportunities. * Identifying and managing hazards and risks through investigation, audit, data analysis and review. * Providing safety systems reports / training / promotion when required. * Maintaining the Korusafe safety database. * Tracking and managing corrective and preventative actions to ensure timely closure. The environment is a demanding one where you will need to be well organised, able to handle competing priorities and assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks at short notice and tight deadlines.
