Volantes Technical Recruitment are presently seeking an Offer Manager for a leading aviation client in Oxfordshire.

Offer Manager

Part of the Programme team, the mission will be:

  • To supervise, lead and manage internal preparation process for tenders/offers
  • To Analyses the Customer requirement (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and prepare the necessary synthesis with the support of the appropriate functions
  • To Support Sales with technical and industrial inputs
  • To Ensure that the Offer business case is consistent, exhaustive and validated internally

The main responsibilities of the post holder will be:

  • Be accountable for the consistency, competitiveness, integrity of the final offer
  • Ensure the fulfilment of the offer process quality gates
  • Accountable for the achievement of the defined business objectives for this segment:
    • OTCQ offers
    • Ensure business reporting to Head of Programmes
  • To lead financial review meetings for offers with XMT and board Members (MD, Finance Director, Head of Design and Customisation Centre)
  • Work in collaboration with designers to define systems architecture
  • Attend any meetings with customer as requested by the Sales Manager & Requirements Capture / Delivery Managerand subsequently produce any amendments to the proposal.
  • Maintain a database of all customer Proposals, progress, and sales
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the company's capabilities and where possible those of our competitors.
  • Contribute to  product policy definition within in the frame of Product catalogue definition

The post holder would ideally have the following Knowledge and Skills:

  •    Avionics background beneficial
  •    Sound commercial knowledge
  •   Good aircraft technical knowledge
  •  Familiar with 3D softwares
  • Reactive and persuasive, you are also organized, contract and result oriented

We require the post holder to have the following Education, Qualifications or special training:

  •   Engineering degree or double diploma technical/business

The post holder should have the following experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in direct customer contact
  • Sales or contracting experience

Key performance indicators:

  •   Offers OT/OQ
  •   Bookings

Other requirements:

  •   Eligible for UK Security clearance
