MOC Manager:- Required for out prestigious Mediterranean client. Excellent package on a permanent basis available to the ideal candidate with Airbus fleet Experience.
Accountable to: Continuing Airworthiness Manager / Director of Engineering (DOE)
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Manager MOC (MMOC) is responsible to the DOE for the following;
a) Responsible for leading the Maintenance Controller team and ensure a roster is
developed and maintained to ensure 7 day / 24-hour AOG coverage by the team.
b) Develop and maintain a Flying Spanner roster to cover the respective fleet as required.
c) Supervise and liaise with Flying Spanners and ensure time sheets are completed.
d) Coordinate with his team all Mechanical discrepancies that may affect the daily operation of all company aircraft.
e) Communicate directly with Operations, Flight Crews, and CAMO to determine if discrepancies are eligible for deferral utilizing the approved MEL guidelines.
f) Coordinate with Contract Maintenance vendors, and OEM Service Centers to work aircraft discrepancies, planned maintenance events and ensure the best course of action to get the aircraft back into service with minimal downtime.
g) Coordinate with Spare Parts suppliers to source required parts to ensure to get the aircraft back into service with minimal downtime.
h) Assist and coordinate organizational matters for spare parts purchasing.
i) Coordinate with DOE if travel to an aircraft is required by a Contract Maintenance Technician.
j) Make recommendations for corrective action of discrepancies based on aircraft service history analysis, applicable Maintenance Manual guidance, and Operator experience.
k) Promote teamwork by cooperation with all co-workers.
l) Promote safety for self and others.
m) Ensure that the aircraft are fitted with the required equipment for the flight undertaken and that this equipment is in airworthy/serviceable condition.
n) Assists in organizational matters for repairs/defect rectifications away from maintenance home base.
o) Liaise with Part-145 organization, manufacturers and service providers for technical follow ups.
p) Keeping the maintenance documentation library up to date.
q) Controlling down time and cost of aircraft maintenance.
r) Comparing maintenance pre-paid program’s (MSP, ESP, Smart Parts+ etc.) and make recommendations to the DOE.
s) Assess and approve invoices received from maintenance/service providers.
t) Assure warranty commitments/terms from the suppliers are applied and enforced.
u) Liaise with the Aircraft Manager and DOE with regards to aircraft downtime, special owner requests etc.
v) Any other tasks assigned by the DOE or his / her nominated deputy during periods of absence.
