Job Description

BIT Systems (BITS), a CACI company, is currently seeking a Mobile Software Engineer Intern to join our team in our Denver, Colorado office.

As an Intern, you’ll work alongside people and technology that is defining the future of our CACI Sector, Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) . You will be exposed to modern software development tools and techniques, gain a greater understanding of how to utilize cloud platform capabilities, and see how big data and artificial intelligence are changing our world each day. Our engineering teams are highly adept at solving complex problems with the application of leading-edge technology solutions, empowering decision-makers to make better mission-critical decisions. We are seeking a Mobile Software Engineer intern to help build mobile and web applications in the Denver Tech Center, CO. You may help build iOS and Android mapping applications, open source ECMAscript and java GIS libraries, and web applications using SQL and noSQL databases, html, css, angular, and react. If you are a motivated individual looking to be a part of critical mission, CACI would like to speak with you.

What You'll Get To Do:

* To be mentored by a senior software developer and contribute to a real product
* Work on a software product team utilizing Agile Software Development processes
* Learn Source Management, Continuous Integration and Automated Deployment best practices
* Be exposed to multiple levels of testing including static code analysis, unit testing, automated functional testing, and automated security testing
* Exposure to modern cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and building “12 factor apps”
* Learn about container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

* Knowledge of at least one high-level programming language (such as Javascript, Java, C++, Python, Ruby, C#, etc.)
* Coursework and/or experience in software engineering, application architecture, design patterns, algorithms and mathematics
* Strong understanding of Operating Systems with proficiency in Linux and/or MacOS
* Basic understanding of computer networking
* Experience with the following: RDBMS and SQL, XML, json, HTML, git, bash
* A love of technology and a strong desire to learn
* Minimum of 60 credits of college coursework in pursuit of a computer science or related degree
* Minimum 3.2 GPA
* Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance, Background Investigation and Polygraph (US Citizenship required)
* No Drug Use
