Role Overview
The Service and Support team is looking for a strong leader to support and lead the Avionics Service and Support Organization through its ACE deployment and maturation. This leader would partner with the Avionics Service and Support team to continue to build upon the culture of employee engagement and strong execution to successfully drive meaningful improvement across our operating system to benefit our customers, employees and shareholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead the deployment of the ACE operating system including developing the organization to support, training plan, change management plan, and execution plan for the organization
* Partner with the extended Avionics ACE team to share and align on best practices, lend support, work cross site initiatives and support where necessary
* Provide strategic ACE/Continuous Improvement (CI) direction for systems, projects and programs for the Iowa Avionics Operations Team, including developing the ACE deployment plan
* Become a resident expert and consultant in ACE/Enterprise Excellence operating system, Standard Work, Lean transformation and Standard Factory
* Provide leadership, support and guidance on ACE/CI Assessment process, Kaizen events and Six Sigma Projects
* Develop and mentor ACE/CI leaders, ACE/CI pilots and Tool Champions by providing guidance through ACE/CI certifications (Associate, Practitioner and Master)
* Plan, lead and facilitate Kaizen teams: complete event planning, perform pre-work and facilitate team supporting event closure.
* Develop and execute a method to track and measure performance to plan and results
* Member of Iowa Avionics leadership team and Avionics ACE Leadership Team
* Become an ACE/CI advocate in leading and implementing organizational changes throughout the Site organization
* Plan, Lead and facilitate CI projects teams (in manufacturing, engineering, and business process)
* Utilize Macro planning and Value Stream mapping to develop future state CI plans
* Adhere to all Avionics Operating Guidelines
* Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience

US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required.
* Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal skills in group settings where there may be resistance to change and in holding crucial conversations
* Exhibit appropriate change agent skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead, facilitate and motivate teams; a bias for action and sense of urgency to obtain results; active listener
