GENERAL DESCRIPTION

* Develops and implements work instructions from customer released technical data packages to simplify and improve production

DUTIES

* Creates manufacturing work instruction from released customer assembly drawings

* Updates and audits manufacturing work instructions as required

* Works as an interface between production and manufacturing engineering personnel

* Monitor workload and bottlenecks within the system

* Works together cohesively with co-workers to ensure a constructive teaming environment

* Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 3-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

* 1-3 years minimum experience in assisting an engineering department

* J-std 001 & IPC-620 certifications preferred

* Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills

* Ability to organize and prioritize work load to meet deadlines

* Ability to understand and execute instructions well

* Ability to read technical drawings

* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Must be able to work and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day

* Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices

* Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee, and reach above/below shoulders

* May be required to lift up to 25 lbs and carry for short distances

* May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools

* Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings, and other small scales

* Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear

* Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimenstional depth
