Our client is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join their experienced team. You will report directly to the Team Leader, you will be working on a Military Aircraft within a depth maintenance environment at the company site.  The Mechanical Technician will be required to carry out airframe and/or propulsion maintenance tasks to a high standard whilst ensuring compliance and airworthiness adherence. You will need to have a good understanding of the construct of the approved data set and competent to work to maintenance instructions.
  
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks could include but not limited to:
  • Carrying out 1st signature responsibilities.                            
  • Ensuring that tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner, on time and to the highest standard.
  • Working effectively within a team.
  • Behaving in line with company principles.
  • Carrying out additional duties as delegated by the Team Leader.
  •  Ensuring Company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with.  
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Essential: -
  • Relative aviation experience
  • Training in an Aircraft related discipline to: City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent (NVQ Level 3)
  • Computer literate
  • Human Factors / Continuation Training.
  • Sign 1st Signature within Trade Boundary.
Desirable: -
  • Mechanical Systems Type course
