Gama Aviation is currently recruiting skilled Mechanics to work within a dynamic, exciting, and progressive team in the West London area. Working on Turboprop aircraft, carrying out scheduled inspections, defect rectification and repairs. This is a great opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience and work towards obtaining a Aircraft Engineers Licence.

/ Responsibilities:

• Carry out assigned inspection and maintenance of aircraft and/or components thereof as requested by the line manager and supervising licensed engineers
• Clearly record on worksheets details of all work carried out. The level of detail must accurately reflect time applied; productive or otherwise
• When not assigned duties, fully utilise all available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
• Comply with all procedures detailed within the GAEL Maintenance Organisation Exposition
• Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
• Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook
• Any other duties commensurate with the position
• To have or to be able to obtain SC+ Clearance

/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

• Recent experience completing light aircraft maintenance on Turboprop Aircraft
• Completed a City and Guilds or diploma equivalent in aircraft engineering or relevant technical apprenticeship and/or trade qualifications
• Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks
• Must be a British National that has lived in the UK for the past 5 years and has the ability to obtain SC+ Clearance
