As a member of a corporate safety office, you will be responsible to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the safety management system to achieve a high level of safety performance. You will drive safety communication and promotion initiatives to raise safety awareness and build a community culture that fosters safety practices and behaviour across all levels. You will work closely with our aviation safety regulators and other partners in the aviation industry to encourage good safety behaviours in the company and airport community. You will be expected to acquire deep knowledge of aviation safety regulations and requirements.
Good degree in any discipline, preferably with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an aviation organisation
Sound knowledge of or working experience in aviation in particular the airside and / or safety management system with complex operational environment.
Self-motivated, driven, analytical, meticulous, and assertive with good people-handling skills.,
Good communication skills and able to help break down complex issues for communications with different stakeholders
In addition, any one of the following experience or knowledge would be an advantage:
quality management principles;
human factors principles;
a risk management methodology e.g. bow-tie analysis, etc;
safety investigations; and
auditing principles e.g. ISO 9001 auditor qualifications.
