Job Description Schedule impact and evaluations in financial terms.
Network suggestion on improvement and commercial impact
Action planned/unplanned IROPS issued by OCC/Network Planning, investigating and resolving all discrepancies in the reservations system.
Ensuring that the flights operated are reflected correctly in the reservation system (Radixx), with thorough check with operational system (ARMS). Logical flight closure in system and ensure the flights reflect correct load on flights in close coordination with airports and finance.
Ensure strict control to ensure old flights are not opened and no shows and unpaid passengers and preflight check to minimize opportunity losses.
Resolve cancelled flights active PNRs regularly and coordinate with accounts.
Resolve unpaid PNR with suitable comments and write offs.
Handles internal queries on space/loads and any adhoc requests across the entire G8 network.
Updates new schedules/extensions, check correctness of all changes done system wide and communicate updates to all internal stake holders per the prescribed distribution list.
Liaises with Airport, Call Center and other internal stakeholders for re-accommodating cancelled or misconnected passengers due to flight cancellation and/or other disruptions.
Undertakes routine and planned quality checks on schedules and available connections, reporting all findings to Management and taking corrective actions for improvement/resolution.
Monitors competitors schedule updates/improvements and update the RM team (Flight Analysts).
Obtains OAL loads from the Airports, consolidating the information on a weekly basis for the benefit of RM team/Management, improving on process for data collection and reporting.
Obtains regular feedback from Airports, Call Center and other departments on schedule connectivity issues offering suitable remedies in consultation with AMs and NP team.
Monitors aircraft LID & Capacity and highlighting any discrepancy to the Flight Analyst and AMs.
Identifies and recommends process improvements to streamline data collection and reporting.
Reports system related issues to the IT team and following through to resolution.
Identifies two team members within the RM team and train them to an acceptable level of proficiency within 30days.
Carries out other assignments and tasks within the department as directed by Management.
Manages the space control team and their attendance/leave management.
