Perform Ground Runs, Hover Checks, Operational Flights on company aircraft in accordance with company, manufacturer, and Faa policies/procedures/requirements. Performs troubleshooting procedures of an aircraft on the ground and in flight, and makes appropriate (verbal or written log entry) reccomendations to assist ground personnel in correcting deficiencies. Performs recovery and ferry flights. Instructs maintenance personnel for aircraft ground run operations. Keeps abreast of, and complies with FAA and local flying regulations and safety procedures as applicable for the job. Maintains proficiency in basic flight maneuvers and appropriate emergency procedures.
* High school degree or equivalent required, Graduate of a Maintenance Test Pilot School, Previous Experience as a Maintenance Test Pilot.
Licenses and Certifications
FAA Commercial Rotocraft License, FAA Airframe and Powerplant (* A&P) Certificiation, Current FAA Second Class Medical, Meet all 135 Requirements as specified in FAR 135, Pass a 135.293 Checkride in each airframe flown at your assigned base, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Must be organized and be able to work independently as a member of a team with a large and varied workload, Must be able to handle a variety of assignments and multiple concurrent tasks, Must be able to work a 5/2 schedule, Successful comletion of an interview, pre-employment drug screening, previous employer record review, FAA background investigation, and any other TSA investigating requirements.
When not engaging in Maintenance Test Flights or Ground Runs, must be willing to: Fly tour flights as a line pilot, Train designated personnel to conduct Maintenance Test Flights in your absence, Update Rotorcraft Flight Manuals as new revisions are published by the manufacturer.
Requirements and Experience
2500 hours PIC in helicopters, 1500 hours Turbine helicopter, 100 hours flown in past 12 months, Prior experience in the Bell 206, AS350, or EC130, Must relocate within a 90-minute drive from Grand Canyon Airport (KGCN), Arizona.

Papillon may be willing to waive aircraft flight experience for an otherwise qualified candidate who has graduated from a Maintenance Test Pilot School such as the Army Maintenance Officer Course (AMOC).
