About the role
Reporting to the Leader, Maintenance Planning this position is responsible for the continued compliance to the maintenance program for all aircraft under the continuing airworthiness management of our regional Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO). The Virgin Australia Regional Airlines Maintenance Planning team provides continued airworthiness management services ensuring:
* Continued compliance to the maintenance program
* Forecasting due maintenance
* Scheduling maintenance
* Ensuring sufficient operational down-time for the accomplishment of such maintenance
The major activities involved with this role involve pre-planning maintenance work orders; identify CAMO spares, tooling and external services to ensure availability; issue maintenance plans to maintenance providers within specified timeframes; review the forward operational schedule and ensure maintenance in planned within compliance timeframes. In addition, this role will support heavy maintenance planning processes and coordinate defect rectification.
What you’ll need
To become part of this diverse team based in Perth, you will have a firm knowledge of planning processes and concepts and proven experience in Line or Heavy Maintenance Planning, Aviation Projects, Maintenance systems, Airworthiness and RPT organisation. Your strong communication skills, ambition for service delivery and ability to promote our safety culture will see you succeed in this role.
