About the role:

The Maintenance Manager, Regional is responsible leading and supporting a team of maintenance team members to achieve safety, regulatory compliance and on-time performance in accordance with the Virgin Australia Regional Airlines AMO Part 145 Exposition.

Key responsibilities in this role include, but not limited to:

* Ensure procedures and standards are adhered to and all team members are working safely

* Lead, motivate and coach line engineering maintenance teams

* Act as key contact for all maintenance operational issues that relate to aircraft receipt and dispatch and unscheduled maintenance

* Support the Maintenance Manager with maintenance projects

* Collate and complete statistical reporting for overtime, production, delays and costs

This role will see you driving the maintenance team's success by providing vital stakeholder communication, setting up; amending and reviewing the daily scheduled maintenance plans and unscheduled maintenance priorities. Using your strong time management skills and resourcefulness you will provide oversight to the AMO's maintenance facility and equipment ensuring resources are in line with the customers' requirements and the AMO's approved capability.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an aviation leadership Maintenance role coupled with a solid understanding of the CASR 145 Manual of Standard's, Civil Aviation Safety Regulations and a high level understanding of the Aircraft Maintenance department. Strong strategic and implementation skills and with highly developed leadership and organisational skills will see you succeed in driving operational success in this diverse and rapidly growing organisation. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualifications are desirable however not essential for this role.
