Position: Maintance Manager
Qualification: AME Diploma OR Graduation in

Key Requirement for the Position Manager Line Maintenance reports to Dy.GM maintenance / GM maintenance. He shall be responsible to the
Line Maintenance Manager for general administration, control and supervision of the maintenance group in
the shift. Ensures that aircraft maintenance is carried out keeping highest level of airworthiness & safety
standards. Ensures proper management of AME’s & technicians is done in the shift & gives complete
handover to the next shift should there be an overspill of work. He/She also ensures that maintenance
activities are carried out as per procedures laid down in relevant manuals .Ensures close coordination with
maintenance manager & MCC
Job Description 1.Develops and ensures implementation of efficient and practical time based work being carried down
as per Airworthiness Standards.
2.Formulates efficient planned program for all the activities of the group, like replacements of Power
Plant, Components, accessories, maintenance activities, and aircraft movement.
3.Ensures that proper ground equipment, general tools and special tools are available to carry out the
maintenance jobs and approved procedures are being followed during all phases of work in base
4. Ensures the tasks allocated by MCC for the day to day work is accomplished in the scheduled time
5. Ensures all the paper work is completed before handing over to Planning / MCC.
6. Ensures that the shift hand over is prepared at the beginning and end of the shift.
7.Coordinates with Logistics/GSD with respect to procurement of tools, equipment spares, etc. from
other approved sources when not available with Go Airlines facilities.
8.Imparts necessary guidance/instruction for staff under his control, the applicable procedures with
regard to usage of tools and equipment etc.
9.Ensures that proper ground equipment and tools are properly calibrated and all relevant technical
literature is available to that effect.
10. Ensures positioning of Qualified / Approved personnel for carrying out the maintenance job functions.
11.Coordinates and supervises the activities pertaining to availability of manpower, ground equipment,
tools and equipment etc.
12.Coordinates with IFS and service provider to ensure that cleaning of Aircraft must be done in
accordance with the company policy.
13.Coordinates with stores for the requirement of tools/materials/consumable required to perform the
