About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Licensed Engineer to join our Babcock Onshore team. Babcock Onshore is a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to our air ambulance, police and offshore sectors. We provide world-class operations to our customers helping them to save lives and protect communities every day.
Our fleet of 32 helicopters from bases across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland has been providing dedicated air ambulance support for more than 20 years and our police helicopters have been supporting UK communities for almost a decade. Babcock Onshore constantly invests in new aircraft, equipment and training to ensure the consistent capability to deliver safe, dependable operational excellence at all times.
Babcock Onshore have an EASA Part 145 approved line maintenance facility in Benson, Oxfordshire, providing first line engineering support to its Thames Valley Air Ambulance Charity customer operating an EC 135T3 rotary aircraft there.
The post holder would be responsible for planning and execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance whilst maintaining high standards of work and be required to make and be able to justify engineering decisions.
This will give you the opportunity to work in a well-equipped, friendly and well supported facility, with the chance to support line operations. Personal career development is encouraged with high level training provided where necessary.
