Licensed Aircraft Engineer
About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. A B1 Licensed, Bo105 and EC135 Type Rated Engineer is responsible for the supervision and certification of airframe/engine or systems related tasks, as defined in the CAME, on aircraft or components either carried out directly by yourself or by non-certifying engineers; ensuring that work is accomplished in accordance with approved data and company policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for completion of maintenance, reporting defects to the Base Maintenance Supervisor or Coordinator and reporting issues regarding matters of Health and Safety or Flight Safety, via the company's occurrence reporting system.

What do I need to do the role?
You will hold Basic Academic Qualifications with apprenticeship or armed forces training and Licence(s) appropriate to helicopter types operated.
You will also have a good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors, and possess a strong maintenance related technical knowledge of rotary aircraft airframe/engine systems.
