As a Flight Systems Architect you will be responsible for leading the preliminary design of complex flight systems. Your duties will include but not be limited too;
*Setting the context for the design and leading high level design decision making
*Gathering technical and business requirements and clearly communicating them
*Creating functional and physical design architectures
*Leading modelling, analysis and trades to ensure the architecture is appropriate
*Documenting and presenting architectures and cost trades to stakeholders
*Assisting in generating product road maps for future business

Skills and Qualifications:
*High levels of experience in the systems engineering domain
*Experience in flight control system design
*Familiarity with aerospace development/certification regime
*Ability to communicate with large design teams, customers and business leaders
*Experience of model based design
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Have achieved Chartered Engineer status
*Experience of working with end-users and customers
*Electronic hardware development
*Mechanical systems and Actuation
