Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of an Obsolescence Manager? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) within the Strategic Procurement Organization, commodity Obsolescence Service Center(35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Internships at Airbus

Tasks & accountabilities

You will support the operational data management and treatment of obsolescence cases related to Equipment and Materials impacting the Tiger Program.

* Process & data improvement:

• To support the Obsolescence Service Centre team in their data management
• To support the analysis of supplier proposals and adding important information (technical and commercial) into the data base
• To support the data collection of Pro-Active Obsolescence Management
• To support the cleaning of the data base
• To support some improvements actions for better data handling
• To draft of a part the data base user manual
• To support the data collection to initiate the obsolescence change process

* Operational management:

• To support the animation of Obsolescence Day with critical Suppliers,
• To join obsolescence change boards
• To prepare and present monthly Key-Performance Indicators

Required skills

You offer:

* Enrolled student within Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field of study
* Fluent in English and/or German, and/or French
* Engineering background, preferred direction is aerospace engineering
* Proactive, persistent and logical approach to new challenges,
* Agile with tools: SAP, Access, MS Windows (Excel professional, capable for macro programming – VBA), etc.,
* Knowledge of Aeronautic industry or similar,
* Rigor and follow standard
* Welcome problem attitude

You will have the opportunity to:
