Reporting to the Regional Director, Airport Passenger Cargo & Security / Member & External Relations, Asia-Pacific, the intern's core involvement will be in IATA's airline member relations efforts. The internship will involve developing some new reporting for IATA's airline members. In this process, the intern will learn to identify, assess and respond effectively to the needs of airlines. He/she will also learn the different ways IATA contributes to the aviation industry and business processes for delivery of IATA’s priorities.
Develop an annual bespoke value proposition report for IATA's members;
Collect, analyze and organize data on IATA initiatives for airlines in the region;
Work across departments in the region and also with the teams in Geneva and Montreal to develop these reports;
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration/and or equivalent degree preferred within a year of graduation;
Excellent communications and written skills in English is a must;
Excellent knowledge of MS software (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point);
Excellent proven skills in organization, diplomacy and confidentiality;
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment, able to multi-task, respond accurately and promptly;
Highly motivated individual with self-starter and teamwork skills.
