Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Cybersecurity testing, evaluation and reporting for Air Force unclassified information system. Document and develop testing and remediation strategies for security issues. Responsible for Testing, documenting and reporting security control weaknesses for system accreditation. Perform automated scanning of custom code and fielded system. Review DoD IAVM alerts and analyze reports for issues. Work with system engineers and developers to remediate identified issues. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision and direction. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and three to five years of related experience.
Be able to monitor Information systems, review automated reports, and analyze potential threats, research remediation and present recommendations.
Be able to analyze security findings and data from multiple sources to provide recommendations based on policy
Perform manual audits to check on internal controls and policy compliance
Conducts structured walk-throughs to ensure integrity of system, applications and compliance with customer requirements
Familiarization with or experience with DoD and Air Force Cybersecurity Regulations, Instructions, Manuals, checklist and guides for Information Technology
Strong written and verbal communication
Current DOD 8570 certification for IAM level III (IE Security+ CE certification or equivalent)
Experience with Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software, ideally Oracle EBS 12.X.
Familiarization with Redhat or Oracle RDBMS administration
An understanding or working knowledge of Organizational Risk as it applies to Cyber Security
Experience with DISA STIGS
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
