In your role, you will:

- Lead and coordinate the activities of members of the industrial engineering team.

- Develop, participate, maintain and improve the strategy and manufacturing plan for the A220 final line.

- Participate in the development of the sequence of production activities for assembly stations.

- Responsible of balancing labor needs according to organizational needs with team involvement, setting labor standards, balancing and configure dialing positions and assembly lines to accommodate different changes in pace, analyze and comment, and take action to determine value-added activity ratios.

- Assess and propose key indicators to measure the productivity of the assembly process as well as performance measurement.

- Identify and propose improvement projects as well as participate and lead Kaizen workshops to solve problems and find solutions, while involving team members who can develop strategies for industrial engineering.

- Develop work charters, anteriority diagrams, sequence of operations, performance calculation, labor needs development, material flow analysis, work measurement, acceleration and decrease in pace, etc.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering as well as a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

- You have project management skills.

- You are very good at communications and interpersonal relationships (French and English).

- You have experience in manufacturing is essential.

- You have an easy way to manage priorities and overcome setbacks.

- You have a mastery of industrial engineering techniques as well as value-added concepts are essential.

- You are recognized as having a high level of initiative, autonomy, innovation and practical sense.

- You have a great command of Microsoft Office tools.

- You have a great command of diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
